New Baldor Boston Facility

On April 13, Baldor Boston moved into a brand new 100,000 square-foot facility in Chelsea, MA. “We needed the new facility so we can continue to grow, broaden our offerings and most importantly, to better service our customer,” says Glenn Messinger, general manager.

The impressive new building boasts 37 loading doors and five different temperature zones on a seven-acre property. Baldor employs 130 people at the new facility. The biggest benefit accompanying the new building is productivity, according to Messinger. “Our efficiency is much better here,” he says. “Our trucks get out much earlier. We’re able to buy better and buy more direct since we have more space.”
